Adult Christian Education

Sunday Morning Seminar

Sunday morning seminar meets at 8:45am on Sunday mornings and encourages adults to take a look at scripture, faith and the Christian life. The class meets in the North Lounge.  Sunday morning seminar is comprised of a diverse group of adults of varying ages, faith backgrounds and ethnicities.  Studies span a wide range of topics and books of the Bible. Come and experience a time of faith building as we grow together as a community of Christians.

Monthly Book Club/Article Discussion

Once a month, come and join us as we engage in dialogue together regarding a particular book or article.  Books have included both religious and non-religious topics.  Fiction and non-fiction.  We have recently begun a new discussion entitled, Articles of Faith.  Articles may be picked up from the church office or during the discussion time.  The discussion group meets once a month at 11:15 in the North Lounge.

Spring Prayer Retreat

Each spring, The Congregational Church hosts its annual adult spring retreat.  The retreat is on a Saturday morning from 9am -12 Noon.  Enjoy a morning together as we hear the presentations of guest speakers and ministers from the area.  Retreat topics have included prayer and gifts of the spirit.  The spring prayer retreat helps to connect us both spiritually and as a community as we enter into the Easter season.
