​CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SUNDAY
June 8 - 11:00 AM
Picnic, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Games, & Prizes

June 8th is CE Sunday! During worship, we will recognize our Sunday school teachers, hand out Bibles to our children and books to our graduating high school seniors. Our children's choir will perform as well as our youth bell choir. Following worship, everyone is invited to join us for our annual CE picnic in the courtyard and Parish Hall. We'll have burgers, dogs, salads, pastas and more. There will be crafts, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, games and prizes!  Join us for this fun day of celebrating another wonderful program year as a Church Family.

RUN FOR KATIE 5K
Sunday, June 9
9:00 AM Start Time

Join in the annual Run/Walk for Katie starting at 9 AM in Flower Hill Park. All proceeds support the Katie Oppo Research Fund to fight ovarian cancer. Join as a sponsor, register for a timed race, or run/walk for fun! Our church has been an official sponsor of the run/walk since its inception. Katie grew up in our church and died from an extremely rare form of ovarian cancer when she was just 19 years old.

MEN’S BREAKFAST AT LANDMARK DINER

​CHALK THE WALK
Friday, June 13 - 4:30 PM

​Join us as we "chalk the walk" for the Port Pride Parade on June 14th. We'll be along the sidewalk on Baywalk park, across from Stop and Shop and find a spot on the sidewalk to chalk with messages of love, peace and kindness. Let Rev. Burgess know if you would like to join in on the fun. Grab some chalk and help us spread love and support to our LGBTQ brothers and sisters through sidewalk art!

​COMBINED CAPTURE THE  FLAG EVENT WITH

CHURCH OF OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH
Friday, June 13 - 7:00 PM

All youth are invited to join as Copley Pond for a game of Capture the Flag with our friends at Church or our Savior Lutheran Church. Youth should bring a dessert to share with the group and a reusable water bottle. RSVP to Rev. Burgess by June 12th.

​PORT PRIDE PARADE
Saturday, June 14 - 1:00 PM

Join our church family as we walk in Port Washington's Pride Parade.  We will meet at 12:45 PM at the Baywalk area across from Stop and Shop.  We'll carry our church's banner and walk with members down to the Bandshell area to enjoy the festivities. Let Rev. Burgess know if you or your family would like to join us for this meaningful and fun day.

​FATHER’S DAY WORSHIP SERVICE & COMMUNION
Sunday, June 15 - 10:00 AM

During 10 AM worship on Father’s Day, we will keep with our tradition of lay speakers sharing about fatherhood. We will also celebrate communion this Sunday.

​WOMEN AT THE WELL
Sunday, June 15 - 11:30 AM

On Sunday, June 15th, we will meet for our final Women at the Well gathering of the church program year. We will end our year with some laughter! Laughter is medicine and we could all use a good dose of healing laughter these days. We’ll watch a Ted Talk with comedian Anjelah Johnson called “Laughter is Medicine”, followed by a short stand – up  set by  comedian Nate Bargatze. It will be a fun morning together as we realize the power of laughter as we hope to heal ourselves and our world. All women are welcome!

YOUTH & FAMILIES GAME NIGHT
Friday, June 20 - 6:00 PM

Friday, June 20th, we'll have our monthly youth and families game night in the Parish Hall. We'll meet at 6pm for a pizza supper followed by tons of fun games and activities in the gym together. Families should bring a dessert to share! Please let Lori know if your youth or family can join us.

YOUTH SERVICE TRIP TO FT. WORTH, TX
June 29 - July 4

Please pray for our chaperones and youth who are leaving for Fort Worth on the service trip.  The group of 23 is partnering with "Be the Neighbor" for their Refugee Welcome week. The group will return the evening of July 4th.
