WOMEN AT THE WELL
SUNDAYS MAY 3 & MAY 31 - 11:30 AM

Women at the Well will gather on May 3rd and May 31st for a special two-part experience as we watch together the inspiring 2022 documentary “Butterfly in the Sky.” This film tells the story behind the beloved children’s television show Reading Rainbow and its host, LeVar Burton. The film explores how a simple idea grew into a powerful movement that encouraged generations of children to discover the joy, freedom, and possibility found in books. As we watch together, we’ll reflect on the ways various stories and books have shaped our own lives. “Butterfly in the Sky” will remind us that imagination is sacred work and that nurturing curiosity can be a form of love and justice. All women are welcome to join us! WATW meets at 11:30 AM in the North Lounge.
